EU students together with judge of Miami have conducted simulated trial in criminal law
On April 28, 2018, Mark A. Speiser – judge of Miami, USA, has visited European University in order to conduct masterclass in criminal proceedings. The simulated judicial process was held at Tbilisi Court of Appeals and had been organized by the Faculty of Law, Humanitaties and Social Sciences of European University. The process was leaded by Tatuli Dolidze - assistant professor from the same faculty and Mark Speiser. As for EU students they were the participants of the trial.
Within the framework of cooperation between European University and Mark Speiser, the Judge of Miami holds masterclasses and trainings at European University several times a year. In addition, in the fall of 2017, the winner of the project initiated by Mark Speiser had opportunity to work together with Speiser in Maiami (USA) city court during a month. Mark Speiser has worked for in the United States Prosecution Service and Justice System, now continues his professional career as a Judge.
