On May 6, 2018, European University took a part in Wings for Life World Run - the world's largest charity event. The event was held for the fifth time in the history of world sport and there were 7000 Georgian citizens participating in it. World Run is the only marathon that does not limit the racing distance and does not have a standard finish line. The sum received from the Charity Fund has been fully transferred to the Wings for Life Foundation, which implements medical and clinical trials for the treatment of spinal cord injury.
