The Olympiad for Ilia Vekua Cup will be held in European university
On October 28-30, 2017, the International Olympiad in Programming for Ilia Vekua Cup will be held at European University. Students and pupils from Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia and Turkey will participate in the Olympiad. The event is organized by the European University, its general Sponsor is Bank of Georgia. The Olympiads will be held in Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Turkey at the same time.
Agenda of the event:
- 28 October: 12:00 - The opening ceremony of the event.
13:00 - First part of the Olympiad, individual working.
- 29 October: 12:00 - Second part of the Olympiad, working in teams.
- 30 October: 12:00 - Awarding ceremony of participants and winners of the Olympiad.
The International Olympiad in Programming - Ilia Vekua Cup has been held since 2007. Since 2014 the event has been supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Abkhazia and the Agency of Innovations and Technologies of Georgia. The winners will be awarded withl special prizes, including: Niko Meskhelishvili prize, Iveri Prangishvili prize, Jiuli Shartava Prize and Evgeny Pancritev prize.
The awarding ceremony event will be attended by the Minister of Culture and Education of Abkhazia - Dimitri Jaiani, Deputy Minister of Culture of Abkhazia - Manana Kvachakhia, representative of the Bank of Georgia Ilia Vekua.
