On May 16, 2018, a public lecture about US Legal System will be held by American judges

On May 16, 2018, Georgian men of law will have an unique opportunity to share the experience of judges invited from the US. They will also be able topave the parallels between the Georgian and American legal systems. The event will be orginized by European University and have a lecture cycle style - each speaker will talk about a specific topic within 25 minutes, after which the audience will be involved in the discussion.

The public lecture be held within the framework of International Legal week organized by European University. During the event, on May 15, 2018, American judges will meet with the Minister of Penitentiary system of Georgia, General Prosecutor of Georgia and Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association. Furthermore, On May 17, 2018, the conference"Actual Problems of Justice" will be held in The Biltomore Hotel Tbilisi. The event will be attended by representatives of the legislative, executive and judiciary branches of Georgia together with American judges.
